Such is Life, that is to be
How we live, it, you and me
To be kind and happy , is how it should go
To help one another and all join the show
Such is Life, that we struggle in vain
Everyday we see such horrible things
All around us is hate, greed and pain
Why does this world prey on such things
Such is Life, that we don't often see
How really wonderful it could be
Just to open our eyes, to seize the day
To enjoy the miracle of life in our wake
Such is Life, that if we don't stop
All the fighting,killings,guns that go pop
We may not be one day, how sad that would be
To lose this wonderous world full of glee
Such is Life, that to live is the greatest gift of all
Let's get together, don't drop the ball
Peace to our children and theirs one and all.

Those two lines got me. I hate those times in life when I can't find anything worth fighting and suffering for, when mediocrity is all that I can see. Not only that, but your poem reminded me of an old Bible proverb, "With much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief." Very nicely written!
